Monday 15th June

We set off on sunday , and we are all rather excited. Packing way too far in advance and counting down the hours.

Most of us havn't been abroad before so are panicing and wondering if we will forget something crucial , like a passport hahaha.

Well yeah , this is the blog set up , check back here as from next monday and we will document our goings on for you haha.

No more worried parents wondering if their kids are ok :]

  6. eh up its midnight 12 in Darwen and I'm chilling with a cheapo Pinot Grigio from Sainsbury's and listening to some Brahms.

Dominica looks stunning and Im envious of the unusualness you're all feeling(of course the futhest away I've ever been is Huncoat) but not of having to spend hours in a galvanised tin flying cylinder just to get there.

Andy...thought you would enjoy the following
from R5s genuinely hysterical Wimbledon 2009
'Tarango and Cash' daily Podcast. Last night the ubiquitous Michael McIntyre was on and saith: 'there's this manager in football called Alan Knill, thats K-N-I-L-L, and if he didn't call his first born son 'Juan', he really missed a trick....

Bury FC's champagne connections go on and on and on...

Is there any fuss about the Ashes over there?

Watched Brazil 1 Sth Africa 0 tonight. SA were fantastic and genuinely deserved to win.
Last night USA humbled full strength Spain 2-0...and were absolutely the better team.

Barbara the sixth form is completely on its knees without you.Thats my own personal opinion though...

Open Evening was good fun. As you can imagine Rehana ate most of the sandwiches again but what can you do?

The others will doubtless get involved but get involved in the place, breathe it in and stop to smell the roses.

    Best wishes to y'all.

  7. How wonderful to see the pics on here, Dominica is a beautiful part of our world. Was nice to see you all working with the children at what I believe is the Alpha Centre. Well done to you all.
